Description
Peter Morgan, MD, of Smart Hair Restore in The Woodlands, Texas, is a board-certified general surgeon with a versatile resume in the medical field. In addition to being the lead physician at Smart Hair Restore, is also the primary vein specialist at Lone Star Vein Center. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a jet engine mechanic during the Vietnam War. After his military service, Dr. Morgan went to New Orleans where he majored in chemistry at the Louisiana State University campus there. He received his medical degree from LSU in 1986 and stayed there for his internship and residency. Much of his training came at the renowned Charity Hospital in New Orleans. After completing his education, Dr. Morgan specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease and became one of the most experienced endovenous surgeons in Texas. He used his refined skills to train other medical professionals and published research on chemistry and aortic aneurysms, among other topics. Outside of the office, Dr. Morgan is a family man and true Texan outdoorsman. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, hunting, ranching, and even cave diving!
