Ms. Donita
<p><!--block-->Ms. Donita's goal is to prepare children socially, emotionally, and academically for kindergarten. She provides numerous opportunities for children to represent ideas through drawing and writing stories; invent unique dance moves; use props to dramatize stories; and express independent thinking and expression through art and music. Ms. Donita helps children develop social skills through character-building activities to learn how to identify emotions; holds group discussions to practice sharing ideas, thoughts, and feelings; and provides opportunities for children to cooperate, negotiate, problem solve, and make independent choices. She encourages children to think through and solve problems by investigating, estimating, and testing solutions. Ms. Donita also builds daily outdoor activities into the schedule that are designed to get children thinking and moving, and gives children many choices to participate in activities that interest and challenge them. She looks forward to partnering with families at this exciting time in their child's life! </p>

Ms. LuLu
<p><!--block-->Ms. LuLu's goal is to provide a literacy-rich classroom with plenty of opportunities for children to explore letters, sounds, books, and writing. As a leader in early childhood education, KinderCare knows that one of the best predictors of a successful reader is the amount of time a child spends reading--so Ms. LuLu uses daily journal activities so children can practice their writing skills; helps children develop early reading skills by connecting sounds to letters through picture and word collages; teaches basic sight words in fun and engaging ways; and helps children develop phonemic awareness through literacy-based games, books, and puzzles in her Phonics Learning Adventures class. Children in her class will build brain power while making new friends and learning valuable social skills for success in elementary school.<br> </p>
